Today was a day for family history.Â My grandmother had a hairdresser’s appointment in the morning, so my grandfather and I had some time alone together.Â We stopped briefly by his high school, then went down to Ontario Beach Park (which is on the lakeshore) to hang out.

Today we only spent a few hours in Toronto.Â Really, the only thing we did there was get the whole crew together and have breakfast at the Grenadier CafÃ© in High Park.
Both the coffee and the food were great.Â It was even better, because the cafe had an outdoor seating patio where you could enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while eating. [Read more…]
Today started earlier than yesterday, but was ultimately more laid back.Â I’m not complainingâ€“it was nice to have a bit of time to rest.Â A had to do a few hours of work in the morning, so we made a quick stop at Tim Hortons (oy!) and then went over to C & S’s apartment to hang out, and steal a wifi signal.Â Because they’re not taking most of their stuff with them, S made this awesome poster to help cull their possessions:
Today started relatively late.Â A and I stayed up till about 1:30 last night, watching an episode of Game of Thrones.Â His mom was pretty tired from traveling from Buffalo, NY to Toronto, so no one woke up ’til 10:30 or 11.Â Our “starting the day” preparations took a while, so we left around noon.Â True to my hopes, A drove.Â No more car Kat for a while!
