Today was my last day visiting my grandparents in Rochester. It was extremely low key. That may be the understatement of the year. We had breakfast. I went for a walk and did some maintenance on my grandfather’s computer. We had lunch. My grandma asked me what I wanted to do for the rest of the day. I, being clueless of the charms of Rochester, did some quick research on my phone and suggested going to the George Eastman House. The gentleman in question was one of the founders of the Eastman-Kodak company. His house is now a museum of photographic history, and I thought it might be cool to check out. I wasn’t heavily invested in it though. And it’s a good thing. Because shortly after I mentioned that, we discovered that The Butler was playing at a nearby theater. We’d discussed going to see it when I first arrived, but my grandparents had been confused about when it was starting. So we were all pretty excited that we could go watch it together.
